What we do

Since 2018, we have been lovingly, carefully and joyfully designing, testing, resdesigning and retesting ways to experience the unique and beautiful culture of Cadiz. We run experiences with these distinct features: walking and exploring the spectular nature of the region; eating as many tapas as humanly possible; sampling local sherries in local bodegas; and meandering through the rich history and culture of Cadiz. We love combining all of the above! Please contact us and tell us your interests and let us craft the best experience possible for you and your group.

Stories

We absolutely loved our time spent with Joanna (and Ed!) as we tried lots of new Spanish eats and drinks. We’re both big foodies so it was a total treat to be taken somewhere we wouldn’t have found by googling – the food was delicious, drinks plentiful and Joanna organised it all. We tried amazing new food that we’d never have tried – or been able to order ourselves! Then topped off with sherry tasting which was brilliant, we learnt lots as we drank and really enjoyed ourselves. It was the perfect end to our honeymoon! We wouldn’t hesitant to recommend Joanna – she’s brilliant and can’t wait for our next Spanish trip with her!

We spent a few lovely hours in Joanna’s company. We expected she would be knowledgeable about the buildings and history of Cadiz and she was. What brought the tour to life was her knowledge of the culture and the food and we had lunch at the Central Market after she explained in detail the Tapas and seafood available. We look forward to seeing her again in a future visit.

Did the walking tour of Cadiz with Jo in English. Saw the main squares with Town Hall, Cathedral and the Plaza de San Antonio, walked on the old walls outside the city and then into the narrow streets of La Vina where we stopped for a welcome ice cream break. Ended the tour at the food market. Jo then helped us order a selection of tapas at a market restaurant as the menu was only in Spanish. Jo is an English guide living locally and her tour was a nice mix of historical facts with local anecdotes. She was engaging and made the tour very enjoyable.
